For my first post, I'm going to upload some photos I took when I first got my DSLR Camera. These photos were taken while I was still learning how to use the camera properly so they aren't exactly my best work. The two photos I'm uploading are the two best photos that I got from the day and the ones that I'm the happiest with.

Photo of Countryside near Hartshead Pike overlooking Mossley and Oldham. |
This photo was taken using an 18-55mm lens and was one of the first photos I ever took. I'm actually really happy with how this one turned out. I think the way the snow highlights the tops of the hills makes this a really effective photo and really helps to capture how cold and icy it was up in the hills.

Hartshead Pike |
This photo of Hartshead Pike was taken with the same 18-55mm lens as the first photo. While I'm quite happy with how this photo turned out I would have liked to get a little closer so I could have missed the top of the farm house out of the bottom off the photo. Unfortunately it was too dangerous to go any closer because of the ice, so I had to take the photo from the nearby road.
That's all of the photos I have to upload at the moment, hopefully I'll have some more photos to upload soon.
Thanks for reading/looking,
Danny.
